Administration Procedures for Award of Activity and Service Ribbons.
1. The individual member fills out the CAP Form 2a, Request for and Approval of Personnel Actions, when the requirements for an activity or service ribbon have been completed.
2. The CAP Form 2a is then submitted via the cadet's chain of command, for approval by the squadron commander. Check the Cadet Recall Roster if uncertain of the chain of command. For example, a cadet would submit the form 2A to his element leader, who would then pass it up the chain of command to the squadron commander.
3. Once the squadron commander signs the 2A, the cadet will be issued the ribbon and be authorized to wear it.
