If you are between the ages 12 and 18, you can join Civil Air Patrol as a cadet and participate in our cadet program.
Civil Air Patrol, also known as CAP, is the official auxillary of the United States Air Force. We have three basic missions, Aerospace Education, Cadet Programs, and Emergency Services. At our squadron, we participate in all three. As a member of CAP, you will gain leadership experience as you move through the ranks in out cadet program. You will also have opportunities to get training in emergency services. The training consists of first aid, communications, ground team member, to name a few. Finally, you will get to participate in aerospace-related activities, such as model rocketry, orientation flights in CAP aircaft, and other aviation-related activities.

The Wright-Patterson Cadet Squadron meets on Tuesday nights at 6:45 PM at Building 206, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. CAP requires regular attendance at unit meetings and some weekend events.
We conduct several new member classes throughout the year. This gives the you a chance to see our squadron in action and to help decide if this if for you. To sign up for the next class, fill out the information below. There is no obligation to join, and you will be sent further information. A parent or guardian must attend the first meeting with the prospective cadet. The meeting usually lasts about 2 hours.
